We are excited to announce that Geist Montessori Academy is partnering with Engineering for Kids to bring STEM programming to our students in Grades 1-6.  Aerospace Engineering will be offered on Wednesdays beginning April 12th from 4:00PM-5:30PM at the SOUTH CAMPUS and will run for six (6) weeks.  Session Dates are April 12th, April 19th, April 26th, May 3rd, May 10th and May 17th.

During the Aerospace Engineering class, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test and refine a variety of flying machines.  They construct a shock absorbing system designed to protect two marshmallow astronauts in a lunar vehicle, create their own air-powered rockets, and assemble a model blimp that actually takes flight.

Registration is limited to 20 students total.  Cost is $35 per student.  Enrollment will be accepted on Tuesday, March 21st between 4:30PM-5:30PM at the South Campus Front Desk.  Registrations will be on a first come first served basis and must include completed registration form and payment.  There is a minimum of 5 students need to hold the class.
